Summary:A circuit breaker, and method of assembling the circuit breaker, includes a circuit breaker housing defining an interior portion, and which includes a molded base and a separable cover. The molded base includes an interior surface and an exterior surface. The exterior surface of the molded base is operatively disposed outside of the interior portion of the circuit breaker housing, and the exterior surface of the base defines at least one current sensing unit receiving cavity configured to receive a current sensing unit therein. The molded base and separable cover are cooperatively disposed to surround the interior portion of the circuit breaker housing.
