Summary:The invention discloses a method for surface enhancement of a pipe. The method includes the steps of: introducing the pipe in a wellbore; introducing cement slurry in the pipe from surface; introducing an expander cone in the pipe on top of the cement slurry, the expander cone having a largest outer diameter which is larger than the initial inner diameter of the pipe; pumping the expander cone towards the downhole end of the pipe, thereby moving the cement slurry to the downhole end and out of the downhole end and into an annulus enclosing the pipe, while and at the same time expanding the inner diameter of the pipe.
