Summary:A light source apparatus, and a backlight unit including the same, and a method of manufacturing the light source apparatus are provided. The light source apparatus includes: a base substrate; a light source disposed on the base substrate; a lens disposed above the light source and including a hollow part in which the light source is housed and having a shape corresponding to an outer peripheral surface of the light source; and an adhesive fixing the lens to the base substrate in a state in which the outer peripheral surface of the light source contacts at least a part of an inner surface of the hollow part.
