Summary:The method and system for synchronizing social networks and Personal Contact Cards (PCC) update the profile of a user published in an Open Mobile Alliance Converged Address Book (OMA CAB) system with the information published and updated on one or more social networks to which the user subscribes, by means of synchronization by polling or synchronization by subscription/notification. To do so, the user sends prior authorization to access the user profile published in the social network to a telecommunication services provider operating the OMA CAB system.
