Abstract A stowable flight attendant seat system may include at least one flight attendant seat. The at least one flight attendant seat may be configured to transition between a stowed position and a deployed position via an actuation assembly. A seat pan of the at least one flight attendant seat may be in a folded position when the at least one flight attendant seat is in the stowed position. The at least one flight attendant seat may be configured to secure to a monument proximate to the at least one flight attendant seat via a latch assembly when the at least one flight attendant seat is in the deployed position. An auxiliary compartment defined within the monument may be accessible when the at least one flight attendant seat is in the stowed position. The stowable flight attendant seat system and the monument may be installed within an aircraft cabin.
