Abstract | A high strength aluminum alloy and manufacturing method thereof are provided. The manufacturing method includes the following steps: providing an aluminum alloy material; applying a solid solution treatment and an artificial aging treatment to the aluminum alloy material; providing the aluminum alloy material after the solid solution treatment and the artificial aging into a heating device to heat to a first temperature of 150 DEG C to 250 DEG C; transferring the aluminum alloy material heated to the first temperature to a heated mold within a transfer time, wherein the mold surface temperatures of an upper mold and a lower mold of the heated mold are controlled at a second temperature of 150 DEG C to 300 DEG C; closing the upper mold and the lower mold of the heated mold, holding pressure within 10 seconds, and opening the mold and taking out the aluminum alloy material to obtain an aluminum alloy component with a high strength and a low spring back. |
