Summary:A myopia-controlled contact lens is defined as having an optical zone and a light-shielding zone in an annular form, wherein the optical zone includes a central portion with a diameter less than 3 mm and a constant diopter P1; a focal depth portion surrounding the outside of the central portion and having a minimum inner ring diameter of 1 mm and a maximum outer ring diameter of 7 mm and having diopter that varies continuously along the radial direction with a maximum diopter of P2, wherein 0.25 ≤ P2-P1 ≤ 4 is satisfied; and an out-of-focus portion surrounding the outside of the focal depth portion and having a minimum inner ring diameter of 3 mm and a maximum outer ring diameter of 10 mm and having a diopter that varies continuously along the radial direction with a maximum diopter of P3, wherein 3 ≤ P3-P1 ≤ 20 is satisfied. The inner ring diameter of the light-shielding zone is between 3 mm and 6 mm and the outer ring diameter is between 7 mm and 15 mm.
