Abstract The present invention provides a method for manufacturing a bellows-type seal, which can produce a bellows-type seal having a high chemical resistance. According to the method of the present invention, a layered sheet body is formed by superimposing a molded shape having folding lines for forming a bellows shape with a planar base material. Subsequently, the layered sheet body is folded in the bellows shape, compressed and heated. Following the heating, the molded shape is removed from the layered sheet body. The base material may be formed, for example, by polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polypropylene (PP), polyurethane (PU) and the like, and the bellows shape is formed without using rubber-based materials.
