A manufacturing method of a cover plate of a golf club head includes the following steps: forming a cover plate semi-finished product, the cover plate semi-finished product has an initial shape; capturing an image of a club head body, the club head body has a profile region; image processing the image, to converts the image into a three dimensional contour line machining path corresponding to the profile region; and cutting the cover plate semi-finished product and trimming the size of the initial shape to form a cover plate, the cover plate has a final shape, the size of the final shape smaller than the size of the initial shape, so as to the cover plate can assembled to the profile region. Thus, machining of the corresponding cover plate can based on the profile region of the club head body, to enhance the precision and the adaptation of the assembly of the cover plate and the club head body.
