The present colored composition for a color filter is characterized by including a transparent resin and a coloring material where the transparent resin includes a transparent resin of a high molecular weight having a weight average molecular weight (Mw) ranged between 46,000~80,000 and having a molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) ranged between 1.7-2.2. The transparent resin further includes a transparent resin of a low molecular weight having a weight average molecular weight (Mw) ranged between 2,000~25,000 and having a molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) ranged between 1.7-2.2. The color filter is characterized by having a filter segment formed by the colored composition for the color filter.
