Abstract A rapid image capture and transposing system for twin-output charge-coupled device (CCD) camera comprises a twin-output CCD camera, which includes a sensor array to store an original image composed of plural pixel data; an image memory to store an image transposed matrix, wherein the image memory includes plural image memory addresses and the image transposed matrix and the sensor array are transposed matrix with respect to each other; a control circuit connected to the twin-output CCD camera and to the image memory, which controls the time sequence of inputting the image memory from the sensor array to generate the image transposed matrix in the image memory; and a processor connected to the image memory, which reads data from the image memory and has plural processor addresses. The processor is connected to the image memory in a specific coding scheme to restore the image transposed matrix back to the sensor array such that the data read out by the processor reads are the data of the original image.
