Abstract A method for monitoring an industrial furnace includes: obtaining plural historical measured values corresponding to a monitoring parameter of the industrial furnace, in which the historical measured values correspond to different furnace lots of the industrial furnace; fitting a fitting function by using the historical measured values as output of the fitting function and using the furnace lot corresponding to each of the historical measured values as input of the fitting function; putting a red light threshold into the fitting function to obtain a red light furnace lot used as input of the fitting function when the red light threshold is used as output of the fitting function; and deriving a yellowing light threshold and a green light threshold according to the red light furnace lot.
