Summary:The present invention relates to a composition for the oral cavity containing a high content of erythritol which can effectively prevent increased pain due to dentin hypersensitivity. Namely, the present invention is a composition for the oral cavity which contains the following components (A), (B), (C), and (D): (A) 6-33% by mass of erythritol; (B) sodium fluoride; (C) calcium glycerophosphate; and (D) water. The mass ratio ((A)/(D)) of the content of the component (A) to the content of the component (D) is 0.06-0.2.
