Abstract | An object of the invention is to provide aminosilane compounds, which are fully effective for use as silane coupling agents, surface treating agents, resin additives, paint additives, adhesives and the like, and which have little or no low-boiling alcohols during service. To solve the problem, there is provided a polycyclic aminosilane compound represented by the following general formula (1). In the formula, R represents a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms or an organoxy group represented by the following general formula (2), in which R represents a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, R to R are each a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, and R and R are each a substituted or unsubstituted divalent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms which may contain a hetero atom. |
