Disclosed is a dust collecting device, which includes: a suction port formation portion for forming a suction port capable of sucking the dust on a cleaning tool, and a dust collecting mechanism for applying the suction force onto the suction port so as to collect the sucked dust. The suction port formation portion includes: a side extending rim that extends at a position separated from the ground by just a predetermined height toward the lateral side; and a pair of notch rims bent from an end portion of the side extending rim toward the rear side so as to form a notch region. The notch region is recessed from an end portion of the opening region formed between the ground and the side extending rim toward the rear side. The suction port is formed by the side extending rim and a pair of notches. Therefore, there is provided a dust collecting device capable of removing the dust on the cleaning tool from the suction port in a wide range.
