Abstract The present invention provides an electrically conductive polymer dispersion comprising at least one poly (3,4-ethylenedioxytiophene) and at least one lignosulfonate. The present invention further provides a process of preparing the electrically conductive polymer dispersion comprising the step of oxidatively polymerizing 3,4-ethylenedioxytiophene monomer in liquid comprising at least one lignosulfonate.
