Abstract | An application of falling detection and alarm in an intelligent cellular phone is disclosed. A sensor module for falling detection and executive software associated with the sensor module are provided in a portable intelligent cellular phone, wherein the sensor module provided in the intelligent cellular phone can be a three-axis acceleration sensor and a gyroscope. The intelligent cellular phone can be carried and used by a senior citizen living alone or a citizen living alone and requiring care. When the user falls accidentally, the intelligent cellular phone is turned on by means of the judgment of the sensor module for transmitting an emergency message to relative healthcare professionals or contact persons so that healthcare professionals or contact persons can handle immediately. Safety of home care services can be enhanced for avoiding damage of body caused by delaying emergency time. |
