Summary:The present invention relates to a method of preparing sunscreen cosmetics having exfoliated clay, which includes the following steps: providing an exfoliated clay; providing a sunscreen composition including at least one physical component, chemical component, and base; and adding the exfoliated clay into the sunscreen composition and then mixing to form a mixture, wherein the physical component is attached to the exfoliated clay through the chemical component as a bridge, so as to block radicals induced by the physical component from reaching the skin and increase the antioxidative effect.
