Abstract | A method for controlling an engine comprises a detection step, a step of determination of fuel injection or ignition and a step of correction of fuel injection or ignition. The detection step comprises calculating a code of encoding tooth. The step of determination of fuel injection or ignition comprises determining whether a code of encoding tooth for fuel injection or a code of encoding tooth for ignition preset in an electronic control unit is located at the position of the code of encoding tooth by the electronic control unit. If the determination is positive, an operation for fuel injection or magnetized ignition is performed. If the operation for fuel injection or magnetized ignition is not performed, the step of correction of fuel injection or magnetized ignition is carried out, and a fuel injection signal a magnetized ignition signal is issued at the next tooth of the preset position of the code of encoding tooth.
