Abstract The present invention discloses an assessing method for the competitiveness for getting a job. Basing on the job market demands ratio of each condition item for required capabilities of every job title in each job category, it is firstly to establish the cross reference table for the competitiveness score for each condition item for the required capabilities of every job title, and the competitiveness percentage-scale table of each condition item of required capabilities of the same job title in the same job category. Then, the resumes of a plurality of job seekers are stored in the resumes database. Through the comparison of the resumes, competitiveness percentage scale table and the resume information of each job seeker, the competitiveness percentage scale of each job seeker under the sought job category can be obtained, and finally an improvement suggestion is proposed for the weaker capability items of the job seeker.
