Abstract | An infrared positioning method and system are disclosed, in which the system comprises: at least an infrared module, being adapted to be mounted on a carrier; and a receiving unit. In an exemplary embodiment, the infrared module further comprises: at least two infrared emitters, capable of emitting different IR signals of different identification codes; and at least a first processor, electrically connected to the infrared emitters; moreover, the receiving unit is further comprises: at least two infrared receivers, each being configured for receiving the IR signal from its corresponding infrared emitter; and a second processor, capable of making an evaluation to determine the position and the moving direction of the carrier according to the IR signals received by the at least two infrared receivers. |
