Summary: | The invention relates to a method and apparatus for ink-jet printing optical disks using UV hardening ink. The method, by an ink-jet printing means, allows electronic graphic files coated on the surface of the optical disc using UV hardening ink, and applies UV illumination to make ink fixed on the optical disc surface to form a printed pattern layer. The mentioned printing apparatus is mainly disposed at a working bench with an optical disc feeding device, a conveying device, a pick-up device, a UV harkening ink-jet device turning load-shifting device and an optical disc receiving device. As such, the process of ink-jet printing the UV hardening ink on the optical disc surface can be performed automatically so as to enhance the quality of the printed pattern layer of the optical surface.
