Summary:A modularized active power filter comprises a control module and at least one power module. The control module can automatically detect the installation numbers of the power modules being installed and control each of the power modules such that all the power modules can jointly provide a total compensation demanded capacity. The total compensation demanded capacity equals to a required demanded capacity of a load. Accordingly, the active power filter has the advantages of flexible installation module numbers, short maintenance time, mass production, and reducing cost.
