Abstract To provide a carbon-nanotube supported inorganic particle showing excellent reinforcing property when combined with resin or the like. The carbon-nanotube supported inorganic particle is characterized by supporting carbon nanotube on the surface of inorganic particles, which can be made by supporting catalyst of fine iron particle on the surface of fibrous or platy inorganic particles such as potassium titanate or wallastonite, and forming carbon nanotube on the surface of said inorganic particle by means of a polystyrene method.
