The apparatus for determining the minimum temperature of initiation of flammable liquids consists of a heating plate (1) with built-in heating bodies (3) connected via an autotransformer (8) to an AC voltage source (2), the heating plate (1) having a measured area in which it is installed a thermocouple (9) connected to the display unit (10). Above the measured area of the heating plate (1), a pipette (7) is height-adjustable in the holder (13) of the pipette (7). Between the measured area of the heating plate (1) and the pipette (7) are placed the tips of the spark initiator (11), which is connected to an adjustable high voltage source (12), the tips of the spark initiator (11) being height-adjustable in the holder (16) of spark initiator (11). Aparatúra na stanovenie minimálnej teploty iniciácie horľavých kvapalín pozostáva z výhrevnej dosky (1) so zabudovanými výhrevnými telesami (3) pripojenými cez autotransformátor (8) na zdroj (2) striedavého napätia, pričom výhrevná doska (1) má meranú oblasť, v ktorej je inštalovaný termočlánok (9) pripojený na zobrazovaciu jednotku (10). Nad meranou oblasťou výhrevnej dosky (1) je v držiaku (13) pipety (7) výškovo prestaviteľne prichytená pipeta (7). Medzi meranou oblasťou výhrevnej dosky (1) a pipetou (7) sú umiestnené hroty iskrového iniciátora (11), ktorý je pripojený na regulovateľný zdroj (12) vysokého napätia, pričom hroty iskrového iniciátora (11) sú výškovo prestaviteľne prichytené v držiaku (16) iskrového iniciátora (11).
