THERMOPLASTIC COMPOSITE HAVING INCREASED IONIZING RADIATION SHIELDING ABILITY
A thermoplastic composite having increased ionizing radiation shielding ability is based on polyolefins. This composite contains polypropylene, barium sulphate and fat derivatives closed to higher fatty acids. It may be used in producing covers against X-rays in the medicine and other branches.
