Abstract A catalyst for the fluid catalytic cracking of hydrocarbon oils is provided with which gasoline and a gas oil fraction can be obtained in high yield and a high degree of bottom cracking and a low coke yield are attained. A catalyst composition (A) comprising a zeolite and 10-30 mass% silica-based binder was mixed with a catalyst composition (B) comprising a zeolite and 10-30 mass% aluminum-compound binder, in a mass proportion (WA:WB) of from 10:90 to 90:10, provided that WA is the mass of the catalyst composition (A) and WB is the mass of the catalyst composition (B).
