Abstract The present invention relates to a resin composition for cleaning a mold, comprising a melamin-based resin, metal soap, a fibrous inorganic compound and needleleaf pulp. The content of the metal soap is in 1.6 to 5.0 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of the resin composition for cleaning a mold. According to the present invention, provided is a resin composition for cleaning a mold, which has excellent mold cleaning performance and can improve workability in a removing process from a mold after cleaning.
