Abstract FIELD: wind-power engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: wind plant consists of a suction duct, guide vanes and a wind wheel which is made in the form of rotation body and installed above the suction duct, and a vortex generator. The latter represents an axially symmetric hollow-type cone and wings which are made in the form of two opposite rotated semi-cylinders with diameter D, the centres of which are located on the cone base line intersecting longitudinal vertical centreline plane, and diameters are connected with the cone base radius R1 in the following way: D<R1<10D. In another version the vortex generator consists of a cone and wings which form Archimedes spirals and represent mating circles the radii of which R2 and R3 are in the ratio R3/R2=1.618 corresponding to Fibonacci number. In the other version the vortex generator consists of wings made of two mating arcs of circles with radius R2 and R3=2R2. ^ EFFECT: invention allows improving wind use coefficient and reliability, and decreasing manufacturing and operating costs. ^ 6 cl, 6 dwg
