Summary:FIELD: self-propelled crawler boom cranes. ^ SUBSTANCE: according to invention, running gear of crawler crane with variable spacing of bogies contains longitudinal beams of bogies, central frame with box-shaped cross beams carrying crawler crane slewing gear. Cross beams of central frame are made extensible, each consisting of central part connected with frame of slewing gear, and two end parts passed through corresponding longitudinal beams of crawler bogies. Running gear includes also means for moving crawler bogies to and form each other hinge secured, respectively, on end and central parts of central frame cross beams, and means for locking said crawler bogies in operating positions. Ends parts of cross beams of central frame and rigidly connected, each, with longitudinal beam of corresponding crawler bogie and are made for partial overlapping of central part of corresponding cross beams of central frame. Means for moving crawler bogies to and from each other are made detachable, are installed outside cross beams of central frame and are secured by means of re-setting pins passed through holes in vertical ribs found respectively on end and central of cross beams of central frame. Central parts of cross beams of central frame are provided with support surfaces for engagement with re-settable jacks placed on ground to jack up crawler bogies at their moving to and from each other. Catching members are made on pointed outwards side walls of longitudinal beams of crawler bogies for moving crawler bogies to or from each other by means of external devices providing for displacement of crawler bogies in required direction. ^ EFFECT: simplified design providing adaptability of running gear to crawler cranes with different types of operating mechanisms. ^ 2 cl, 5 dwg
