Abstract | FIELD: technologies for protection from falsifications. ^ SUBSTANCE: device has optically variable structure with three-dimensional grid, which is placed in such a way relatively to cover, that, at different observation angles different optical effects appear, including variable ones. Three-dimensional grid and cover made in form of printed grid, are oriented one relatively to another in such a way, that rectilinear elements of printed grid are located at sharp angle, preferably from 0.3 to 10 degrees, to rectilinear elements of three-dimensional grid. Preferably, step between rectilinear elements of printed grid differs from step between similar rectilinear elements of three-dimensional grid and is not divisible relatively to it in cross-section which is perpendicular to rectilinear elements of three-dimensional grid. While observing data carrier at right and sharp angles an optical effect is observed in the surface in form of moire - smooth change of color, shade and color tinges, which is usable for determining origin of data carrier, but may not be reproduced by means of copying equipment at all or matching the original. ^ EFFECT: reliable protection of data carrier from falsification by simple means. ^ 16 cl, 5 dwg, 6 ex |
