Abstract | automotive industry; automobile testing facilities. SUBSTANCE: proposed device providing diagnosing of left-hand and right-hand headlight units with upper and lower beam lamps includes series-connected potentiometer-type limit selector unit, logic diagnostic device in form of controller, diagnostic block in form of plug connector and portable diagnostic instrument in form of tester. CHECK ELECTRICAL lamp is connected additionally to logic diagnostic device. These component units are functionally coupled with headlight units, upper and lower beam relays, headlight switch, external light switch, ignition switch, generator and storage battery. Proposed development provides constant diagnosing of lighting system as a whole and of its separate units.
