Summary: | gas treatment. SUBSTANCE: gas flow is divided and simultaneously passed through packet of parallel filter elements made of lamellar lyophilic conducting filter material, which elements purify themselves at optimal angle, at which retained and coalesced dropping liquid flow down from the surface into the drainage system, while filter material is additionally regenerated by electrical heating. More specifically, fine liquid drops are efficiently retained and coalesced on frontal surface of fine-pore layer continuously applied on coarse-pore layer of lamellar conducting filter material. Frontal rate of purification U = Q/S = 30 to 300 cm/s, wherein Q is volume gas flow rate and S geometric area of frontal surface of filter elements' packet. Gas continuously transfers retained liquid onto back outside surface of coarse-pore layer, wherefrom the liquid flows off toward drainage system at ratio of tangential velocity of gas flow along the coarse-pore surface on the filter element outlet to frontal gas purification rate V/U ≅ 25. EFFECT: enhanced gas purification efficiency. 4 cl, 3 dwg |
