Abstract FIELD: cleaning of communications cables from hydrophobic filler. SUBSTANCE: described is cleaning agent comprising mixture of high-molecular ethers, organic additive and water. Mixture of high- molecular ether includes mixture of polyethylene glycol ethers of mono and dialkylphenols of general formula: CnH2n+1C6H4O(C2H4O)m wherein H, n are 8-10, m is 10-12 and organic additive is polyethyle polyamine or triethanol amine, ratios of components, being as follows: wt %: mixture of polyethylene glycol ethers of mono and dialkylphenols of general formula: CnH2n+1C6H4O(C2H4O)mH, wherein n is 8-10; m is 10-12, 45- 89; polyethylene polyamine or triethanolamine, 10-12; and the water balance.
