Summary:FIELD: oil and gas production industry. SUBSTANCE: this also can be used in geological prospecting operations. This is intended for installing counterblowout equipment at open gushing of wells when there is no pipe string head or base flange on well mouth. Wedge-type self-sealing pipe string head is made up of body, pipe string flange, anchoring unit, main sealing unit and additional sealing unit. Anchoring unit is additionally provided with hydraulically-operated mechanism for release of wedged dies. Main sealing unit incorporates collar with circular groove and ring seated in this circular groove. Collar is installed in annular bore of pipe string flange. Journal box presses on collar and is made in the form of clamping flange with circular protrusion. Clamping flange has circular bore for location of additional hermetic sealing member. Application of aforesaid embodiment of device ensures reliable hermetic sealing of joint between pipe string head and casing string and simplifies its dismantling. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 dwg
