FIELD: medicine, in particular, ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: complex treatment of cornea dystrophies includes additionally psychotherapy with use of neurolinguistic programming elements. Patient states orally vivid and detailed description of desirable function and imagines its achievement. Positive emotional and vegetative manifestations are marked and conditional-reflex connection is formed by means of tactile contact. Image of localized brain section responsible for recovery is brought about, and connection with definite physical perceptions and their appearance in this zone of brain when setting up of tactile contact are suggested. Then the patient is brought to state of light hypnotic trance with detailed explanation of regeneration process, its stages and their connection with subjective perceptions. Subjective perceptions and objective confirmation of positive dynamics are revealed. The patient's attention is accented on them, and they are fixed by repeated tactile contact which is effected by touching the patient's cutaneous coverings with one and the same motion, at the same place and with the same force.
