Summary:FIELD: control of polymerization stimulated by laser radiation. SUBSTANCE: a foreign body, for instance wire, is introduced to liquid photopolymerizing syrup in the zone of laser radiation . Polymerization of syrup occurs around the foreign body. Radiation treatment is conducted up to cessation of growth of the polymer mass or thickness. Then polymer mass or thickness versus time of radiation treatment is plotted. The rate of polymerization is determined according to the slope of the mentioned relation. Stereolithography process parameters: laser beam scanning rate and depth of platform submergence are determined from the obtained rate data. EFFECT: facilitated procedure.
