Summary: | FIELD: pharmacology; ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: first aqueous solution of pilocarpine chloride is prepared in concentration 10-20 wt.p. (all numerical values are given in the rate per 1000 wt.p. of solution). To make solution isotonic sodium chloride taken in the amount 8.8-9.0 wt.p is added to it, followed by adding to it preservative agent, namely, zinc undecylenate in the amount 0.01-0.02 wt.p. Eye drops additionally contain sodium hyaluronate in the amount 5-10 wt.p.
