Ze chofexamide is the result of a reaction between 4-chlorophenoxy-acetic-acid and NN-di;ethyl-amino-ethyl-amine. Above is the subject of the main invention RSR No.91023. Here are attempt is made to improve the purity of the prod. namely: clofexamide dissolved in toluene (or xylene) is brought into contact with phenyl-butazone in the presence of polar solvents as acetone, iso-propyl-alochol, ethyl-alcohol in vol. proportions of 1:1 and respectively 1:5 and 1:6 based on toluene/or tylene) at a temp. 10-25 deg.C. is obtd. by filtration at 1-10 deg.C, and is recrystallised from lower alcohols, as ethanol.
