Abstract Inventia se refera la un procedeu de obtinere a unui catalizator utilizat la hidrogenarea 2-etilhexanolului la 2-etilhexanol continînd pe un suport de silice, Ni, Cu si Cr în calitate de promotor si avînd o suprafata specifica cuprinsa între 100 si 250 m2/g si un volum al porilor cuprins între 0,4 si 0,7 cm3/g. Catalizatorul este preparat prin pulverizarea solutiilor sarurilor elementelor active pe un suport de silice preformat.
