Abstract The invention relates to piezoceramic materials such as lead zirconate titanate (PZT), to piezoceramic elements made of said materials and to a process for making them. According to the invention, the PZT-type piezoceramic materials have the following chemical formula Pbx(Mn0.017Sb0.033Zr0.48Ti0.47)O3, wherein x=0.96; 0.98; 1; 1.02; 1.04. The claimed process for making the PZT materials and the ceramic elements consists in homogenizing the raw materials, Pb3O4, TiO2, ZrO2, MnCO3, Sb2O3, in a ball mill, in ethanol, drying the homogeneous mixture and sieving it, followed by calcination at 900°C for 2 h, then milling it in the mill for 4 h, in distilled water, the resulting powders being then dried, sieved and pressed as discs or cylinders, after which the compacted ceramic powder is sintered at 1200°C for 2 h and the sintered samples are machined so as to reach the final dimensions of the ceramic elements the parallel faces of which are then metal-coated using colloidal silver and the electric polarization of the metal-coated elements is performed in silicone oil, at temperatures ranging between 150...200°C, in intense electric fields of 30...40 kV/cm. Invenţia se referă la materiale piezoceramice de tip titanat de zirconat de plumb (PZT), la elemente piezoceramice realizate din acestea şi la procedeul de realizare a acestora. Materialele piezoceramice de tip PZT, conform invenţiei, prezintă formula chimică Pbx(Mn0.017Sb0.033Zr0.48Ti0.47)O3, unde x=0.96; 0.98; 1; 1.02; 1.04. Procedeul de realizare a materialelor de tip PZT şi a elementelor ceramice, conform invenţiei, constă în omogenizarea materiilor prime, PB3O4, TiO2, ZrO2, MnCO3, Sb2O3, într-o moară cu bile, în alcool etilic, urmată de uscarea şi trecerea prin sită a amestecului omogen, calcinarea la 900°C, timp de 2 ore, urmată de 4 ore de măcinare în moară, în apă distilată, pulberile rezultate fiind apoi uscate, trecute prin sită şi presate sub formă de discuri sau de cilindri, etapă urmată de sinterizarea pulberii ceramice compactate la 1200°C, timp de 2 ore, probele sinterizate fiind apoi prelucrate mecanic pentru a obţine dimensiunile finale ale elementelor ceramice ale căror feţe paralele sunt metalizate folosind Ag coloidal, iar polarizarea electrică a elementelor metalizate este făcută în ulei siliconic la temperaturi cuprinse între 150...200°C, în câmpuri electrice intense cuprinse între 30...40 kV/cm.
