Abstract The method involves embedding a composite mold part made of thermoplastic resin in matrix form. Higher-melting reinforcement materials (8) i.e. higher-melting reinforcement fibers, are combined with lower-melting fibers made of thermoplastic resin into a laminate (4), where the lower-melting fibers are spun and combined after spinning at fiber temperature with the higher-melting reinforcement material into the laminate to form a semi-finished product. The reinforcing material has interstices between the reinforcing fibers. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a semi-finished material (2) a composite mold part.
