Abstract Disclosed are a charged water-flushing robot system and method for substation. The system comprises a main flushing robot, an auxiliary flushing robot, and a pure water preparation apparatus, wherein the main flushing robot and the auxiliary flushing robot are respectively connected to the pure water preparation apparatus via a high pressure pipeline; the main flushing robot comprises a vehicle body moving mechanism, a lifting mechanism and a water gun flushing mechanism; the vehicle body moving mechanism is connected to a revolving platform (8) of the lifting mechanism via a revolving bearing, the revolving platform (8) of the lifting mechanism is mounted with a multi-sectional multi-stage telescopic arm, the multi-sectional multi-stage telescopic arm are connected to the water gun flushing mechanism via a levelling cylinder. The device uses a robot instead of human labour to complete an insulator flushing operation in a substation to enable operators to stay within a safety region, thereby ensuring the safety of the operators, reducing labour intensity, and improving the flushing efficiency and automation level.
