Abstract A conjugate between: a) wild type superantigen that has been modified that comprises an amino acid sequence of a wild-type superantigen in which one or more amino acid residues in at least one region which is present within the amino acid sequence of the superantigen and functions in determining binding to TCR and activation of a subset of T cells have been replaced by a different amino acid residue, b) a target seeking moiety. These superantigens lower immunogenicity and reaction with neutralizing antibodies, less side effects and are used to treat cancer, and autoimmune diseases associated with cells that on their surface express MHC class II antigens.
