Summary:In this system, there is provided in each case for a dwelling or building unit a separate first assembly (1'), which is suitable for receiving the coded time information transmitted by a radio transmitter and, moreover, has a coupling-in device (9'), by means of which the demodulated coded time information is transmitted in a form of an amplitude-modulated carrier frequency signal to the power supply system (N) inside the dwelling or building. The time-indicating or time-utilising devices present in the dwelling or building unit are constructed in each case as second assemblies, which have at least one coupling-out device (17'), connected to the power supply system (N), for the signal containing the time information, a demodulator (24) for obtaining the coded time information, and an evaluation device (25') containing a decoder device (26) for decoding the time information and having a display unit (29) and/or a switching device (28, 30). Moreover, each second assembly (17') can have an electronic clock (41). In this case, two items of time information delivered by the electronic clock (41) and the decoder device (26) are compared in the evaluation device (25'), and the respective more plausible item is fed to the display unit (29) and/or the switching device (28, 30).
