1309203 Indicating apparatus LA TELEMACANIQUE ELECTRIQUE 4 June 1971 [11 June 1970] 19100/71 Heading G1J [Also in Division E2 H1] A mounting arrangement for a device such as a measuring or signal indicator to be attached to an apertured panel 20, comprises a body part 1 insertable through the aperture 21 in the panel 20 and retained by a flanged member 17 threaded thereto and engaging the front face of the panel, a threaded nut 2 having gear teeth 2a on its periphery being rotatable through a pinion 6, as by a screw driver engaging end 4a of a spindle 4, to clamp the device in position. In the example described a grooved washer 3 containing an "O" ring 11 is arranged between the nut 2 and the panel 20. The pinion 6 is threaded onto the spindle 4 and acts as a torque limiter. When the spindle 4 slips within the pinion 6, a conical head 7 being simultaneously drawn down into a recess in the washer 3 to clamp the assembly in the tightened position.
