Abstract | Disclosed is an application of miR-222-3p in the proliferation and differentiation of skeletal 5 myoblasts, belonging to the technical field of molecular biology. The nucleotide sequence of miR- 222-3p is AGCUACAUCUGGCUACUGGGUCU. Firstly, the differential expression of miR-222- 3p are found in the process of repairing the damaged skeletal muscle, and the expression level of miR-222-3p is the highest in the period of the most severely damaged skeletal muscle, thus inferring that miR-222-3p may participate in the process of repairing the damaged skeletal muscle; 10 miR-222-3p is transfected into C2C12 cells to construct a myoblast model, which proves that inhibiting the expression of miR-222-3p could promote the proliferation and differentiation of C2C12 cells. Therefore, it can inhibit the expression of miR-222-3p to promote the proliferation and differentiation of myoblasts, and the invention can finally be applied to the skeletal muscle damage repair and the treatment of muscle atrophy and other related diseases. |
