Abstract | A hand-held unit for a wireless interaction system is provided, the hand-held unit having a spherical, elastic and at least partially transparent outer housing, the housing comprising: a light source; a pressure sensor for determining an external pressure exerted on the hand-held unit; an orientation sensor for determining an orientation of the hand-held unit; a wireless communication unit; and a processing unit, wherein the processing unit is configured to operate in at least one of two modes: a first mode wherein signals from the orientation sensor are transmitted via the wireless communication unit to an external wireless receiver device; and a second mode wherein the light source is emitting light for indicating the position of the hand-held unit to an external light detecting device. |
