Summary:A glove comprises a latex, a dispersing agent, a wetting agent, a pH adjuster, a stabilizer, a crosslinking agent, an accelerator, an activator, an antifoaming agent and a thickening agent characterized in that the glove further includes a plant extract, wherein the plant extract is anthocyanin. A method of extracting the anthocyanin from plants containing anthocyanin, wherein the method includes (i) crushing the plants containing anthocyanins mechanically in water to produce a slurry comprising anthocyanin, coarse and hard cellulose; (ii) heating while stirring the slurry obtained in step (i); (iii) separating the anthocyanin obtained in step (ii) from the slurry and (iv) drying the anthocyanin obtained from step (iii).
