Summary:The present disclosure provides a seed separator (100) including a container (10) having an inlet portion (12) through which a fibrous biomass raw material including seeds and a fibrous biomass and a gas conveying the fibrous biomass raw material are supplied upwards, the container (10) separating the fibrous biomass raw material into a fibrous biomass-rich component and a seed-rich component by a difference in a terminal velocity between the seeds and the fibrous biomass, a first outlet portion (14) provided in an upper part of the container (10) to discharge the fibrous biomass-rich component from the container (10), and a second outlet portion (16) provided in a lower part of the container ( 10) to discharge the seed-rich component from the container (10).
